1.2 Introduction

Congratulations
on
purchasing a GFn air heater.
In order to realize the full benefit from this product it
is important that it is installed, commissioned and
operated correctly. Before installation or using the
heater, this manual should be studied carefully.
The present manual contains the instructions for the
air heater models listed below. These instructions
must be strictly followed during the air heaters life
cycle including installation, use and maintenance.
This manual covers the following air heater models:
GFn85.
The present manual is integral part of the air heater,
therefore must follow the air heater in the event of
any transfer or transfer of ownership. The user must
keep all documentation in a safe place close to the
unit, for future reference.

2.1 Intended use

The GFn air heaters are intended to provide heat
inside livestock farms, greenhouses and other
agricultural
application the GFn air heaters are best suited for:
• internal permanent installation, directly in the
environment to be heated;
• external permanent installation, in the vicinity of
the environment to be heated e.g. in a separate
room.
The air heater has been engineered and designed
for the intended use described above. Any other use
can cause permanent damage to the air heater or
serious injury to the user; therefore it is not allowed
and considered misuse.
The air heater is designed to meet the safety
requirements, directives and standards listed in the
EC Declaration of Conformity. No modification of the
air heater is allowed without prior written approval of
the manufacturer.
Damage resulting from improper use, including the
non-observance of all instructions contained in this
manual as well as non-complying with the required
cleaning and maintenance instructions, will void the
warranty and the liability on behalf of the
manufacturer.

2.2 General safety instructions

Safe functioning is assured only if the installation,
operation and maintenance rules and guidelines are
carefully read, understood and observed. The
following points must be stressed out:
• do not use the air heater without exhaust pipe
system properly connected to the air heater. The
user must always connect the air heater to an
exhaust pipe in order to release safely in the
atmosphere the combustion fumes;
• do not reduce, modify or obstruct in any way the
air inlet and outlet;
• do not direct the hot air flow towards any fuel
supply, fuel circuit components, etc.;
