into the conduit. Handle the joint with care. i.e. do not bent or pull the joint.
Always pay attention to instructions for the fl oor covering adhesive.
Do not lay heating cable in areas that might be damaged by drilling etc. or
might be covered by cupboards etc.
The subfl oor should be clean, stable and rigid, without cracks or adhesion-
reducing substances. Cracks are to be fi lled out beforehand with a casting
resin. Big roughness is to be levelled out. The concrete subfl oor must be
completely dry before installing the underfl oor heating system. With quickly
solidifying plaster, one should follow the supplier's instructions.
Important!
A fl oor thermostat should be used! It is recommended to install the
sensor cable in a conduit, so that it is possible to replace a defective sensor
easily. The conduit must be sealed properly. The sensor itself should be
located close to the surface immediately under fl oor tiles or other fl oor cov-
ering and should be positioned centrally between two heating cables. Avoid
mechanical damage to the heating cable! In case of damage a splice kit can
be used. Please observe all applicable regulations concerning installation.
