General instructions

Please read the complete installation instruction carefully. At the appendix
you will fi nd a commissioning report which has to be fi lled out by a recog-
nised installer for warranty purposes. Tyco Thermal Controls guarantee the
products for 12 years and, in case of any defect, repair the damaged heating
cable or offer you a new product. This warranty does not include preparatory
work, i.e. work involved in locating the failure and restoring the fl oor.
Pay attention to local circumstances, standards and regulations.
To ensure electrical safety earth leakage ciruit breakers shall be used.
Tyco Thermal Controls cannot be held responsible for any failures which
are related to neglecting the measurements as described in this manual.
The commissioning report should be sent to the relevant address as noted
on the fi nal page. A copy of this commissioning report should be kept by
the owner of the house in order to comply with electrical regulations.

Installation instructions

T2Blue may not be cut to length, crossed or installed with a spacing closer
than 50 mm. T2Blue can be installed under fl oor tiles or natural stone. The
thermal resistance of the fl oor construction above T2Blue should be as low
as possible.
Do not step on the cables during installation. Also the heating cable should
not be laid across expansion joints. The joint between the heating cable and
the connection cable must be located in the screed and must not be pulled up
