9. Install the rubber chute strap (723-04008A) onto the chute
elbow using clevis pin (711-05063), washer (736-0204) and
Bow-tie cotter pin (714-04040) from hardware pack 689-
00091. See Figure 4-20.
10. Install the ball pin (711-04069) from hardware pack 689-
00091 into the hole in the front of the mower deck as
shown in Figure 4-21, and secure with the included flange
lock nut (712-04064).

11. With the tractor's discharge chute raised up and held open,
install the chute elbow over the chute opening by placing
the top, rear edge of the chute elbow over the rear of the
deck opening, then pivoting the chute elbow down and
over the chute opening. See Figure 4-22.

NOTE: For the chute elbow to be properly installed,
the bottom edge must fall over the bottom of the deck
opening so that the entire deck opening is covered by the
chute elbow. See Figure 4-23.
