INSTALLATION
SUPPLEMENTARY VENTILATION
In certain installations, such as an island up
against a house or other structure, or perhaps
a short roof overhang above your grill; a
"range-hood" style ventilation unit may be
desirable to direct smoke and grease away
from those structures. In these cases, Hestan
recommends you consult with your outdoor
kitchen designer/contractor for more
information on choosing the
appropriate ventilation solution.

This trim piece (as shown on the left) should be
added to prevent intrusion of insects and vermin
under your grill when installed in an enclosure
(island). This image also shows the optional
insulation jacket for combustible island enclosures.
This trim piece is not needed for cart installations.
