Fitting instructions
1)
Disassemble the bumper and loosen the exhaust in the rear.
2)
Place, on the right side of the vehicle, mounting piece (h) against the underside of the chassis so that the
points (A), (A') and (E) match the provided screw-thread holes. Place by (A') a washer 40x35x12x2 and
by (E) a washer 40x35x12x4 between the mounting piece and the chassis.
Insert bolts and washers but do not tighten yet.
3)
Place now the tow bar on the mounting piece so that point (B') of the tow bar matches with (B') of the
mounting piece. Insert the bolt and washer but do not tighten yet.
4)
Assemble afterwards piece (g) like mounting piece (h), do not forget the washers between the mounting
piece and the chassis.
Insert by (B') the bolt and the washer but do not tighten.
5)
Assemble now the pieces (i) and (j) with the points (D) on the existing drillings in the chassis so that
points (B) and (C) match the points (B) and (C) of the tow bar and of the mounting piece. Insert all bolts,
washers and nuts and tighten everything firmly.
6)
Make an incision in the middle of the bumper (see drawing 1). Replace afterwards the bumper and refix
the exhaust.
7)
Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
