MICROWAVE OVEN OPERATION
Gourmet
The Gourmet feature detects moisture and humidity from
food as it heats and automatically adjusts cook time and
power level. Fresh vegetables and poultry have two options.
Follow directions on the control panel display to select the
desired option.
To select Gourmet:
Touch GOURMET, then use number pads to select

Recipes, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
Use number pads to select desired recipe/food.

Touch START/QUICK ON.

Recipes
1 BEEF WRAPS
Place in a 2-quart (2 L) casserole dish:
1 lb (.5 kg) ground beef
Break apart and cover. Touch RECIPES, number 1 to select Beef
Wraps and then touch START/QUICK ON.
At pause, drain fat and break ground beef into small pieces.
Add:
10-oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
(285 g)
1 1 / cups salsa
(360 ml)

1–3 tsp chili powder
(5–15 ml)
Stir together well. Cover. Touch START/QUICK ON.
At end, stir well and place in 8 warmed corn tortillas. Top with 1
cup shredded cheddar cheese.

2 MEXICAN CHICKEN
Place in layers in a 3-quart
(3 L)
2 cups instant rice
(230 g)
1 cup prepared fajita sauce mixed with
(240 ml)
chicken broth or bouillon
2 10-oz pkg , frozen seasoning mix (onion, peppers,
(285 g)
parsley and celery)
1 lb boneless chicken breast cut into 1"
(.5 kg)
Cover. Touch RECIPES, number 2 to select Mexican Chicken
and then touch START/QUICK ON.
At pause, stir together making sure that chicken strips are
separated and mixed into the rice and sauce. Cover. Touch
START/QUICK ON.
At end, stir. Serve with buttered green beans and toasted
tortillas.
Makes 6 servings.
