There is air in the fuel supply.
There is not enough fuel.
The main filter is clogged.
The distributor head is blocked or
damaged.
The electrodes are worn or the
settings are incorrect.
The magnet valve or valves will
not open.
The ionization probe is dirty or
defective.
The air-inlet valve of the burner is
not set correctly.
The settings of the distributor
head and/or mixing plate are
incorrect or dirty.
Exhaust opening or flue
connection is in poor condition.
The ignition transformer is
defective.
There is insufficient fresh-air
supply.
There are problems in the
combustion chamber or heat
exchanger.
The burner thermostat has not
been set correctly. Out 2.
The air inlet has not been set
correctly.

Solution
De-aerate the fuel supply.
Adjust the gas appliance
regulator.
Clean or replace the filter.
Replace the distributor head.
Clean or replace the electrodes. Dealer
Check the electrical
connections. You should hear a
"click" when the convector
heater is switched on or off.
Clean or replace the magnet
valve(s).
Check and clean the ionization
probe.
Test the ionization probe and
replace if necessary. See fig. 7.
Check the air-inlet valve.
Measure the CO content and

the amount of soot.
Correct the settings of the
distributor head and/or mixing
plate.
Clean the distributor head and/
or mixing plate.
Connect the convector heater to
a flue that is in good condition.
Correct the connections.
Test the insulation in relation to
the burner.
Replace the ignition transformer
if necessary.
Open a door or window.
Use an outside-air suction
device for the burner.
Clean, repair or replace the
combustion chamber and heat
exchanger, if necessary.
Set the burner thermostat
according to the manufacturer's
specifications.
Set the air inlet.
