Release the lock knob for depth
adjustment so that the support wheel
arm is released from the casing. The
trimming depth can then be adjusted.

Move up the support wheel arm for more
depth and down for less.

Lock the support wheel arm in the
required position with the lock knob.

NOTE:
Check that the support wheel arm is correctly
adjusted in one of the 3 positions for the
trimming depth before tightening the knob.
HOLDER FOR EXTENSION CORD
The holder prevents the extension cord (sold
separately) pulling loose during use.
NOTE:
Only use an extension cord approved for
outdoor use and no more than 25 metres
long.

Fold the extension cord double about
30 cm from the end with the female
connector and put the loop through the
hole below the handle.

Put the loop over the cord holder and pull
to lock it firmly in place.

Connect the product's power cord to the

USE
STARTING/STOPPING
WARNING!
•
The product should be connected to the
mains via a residual current device with
a tripping current of
≤ 30 mA.
•
Wear suitable clothing, safety gloves,
approved safety glasses and/or visor,
safety helmet, ear protection and
heavy-duty, non-slip shoes.
•
The moving parts on the product
continue to move for a few seconds after
the product has been switched off or
unplugged. Wait until all moving parts
have completely stopped before putting
down the product.
NOTE:
•
The product has a power switch lock,
which prevents it from starting if only
the power switch is pressed. This
provides protection from unintentional
starting.
•
To avoid kickback, lower the handle so
that the blade is not touching the
ground when starting the product.
•
If the product goes more slowly as a
result of the accumulation of grass on
the blade guard, go back a few steps so
that the grass drops out. Wait until the
blade has reached maximum speed
before going forward again.
•
If the blade comes into contact with hard
edges, such as concrete, this can produce
sparks. Direct the blade so that such
contact is avoided.
