Electrical connection

ATTENTION! ESD damage!
Electrostatic discharge can lead to damage
to electronic components!
Î Take care to discharge properly be-
fore touching the inside of the device!
To do so, touch a grounded surface
such as a radiator or tap!
ATTENTION! Short circuit!
A short circuit can lead to damage to elec-
tronic components!
Î Establish the power supply only after
you have connected all cables required
to the terminals and closed the housing.
If the mains adapter or its cable is damaged, it has to be
replaced by an identical mains adapter, which is available
from the manufacturer or its customer service.
Do not use the device if it is visibly damaged!
The VBus / CANopen interface adapter needs a mains, a

VBus and a CANopen connection to function. To install
®
the VBus cable, the housing has to be opened.
Î In order to open the housing, unscrew the screw and
remove the upper part of the housing.
Î Connect the included VBus
