EN Reading and storing the instruction manual
This instruction manual is part of this child restraint system (hereinafter referred to as
"child safety seat"). The instruction manual contains important information on initial
operation and handling.
Read the instruction manual carefully, particularly the safety information, before you
use the child safety seat. Failure to follow this instruction manual may endanger your
child and lead to serious injuries.
Store the instruction manual for further use. You must include this instruction manual
if you pass on this child safety seat to third parties. There is a pocket below the head-
rest cover for storing this instruction manual.
Important information
Notice
This is a i-Size booster seat Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved
according to UN Regulation No. 129, for use primarily in "i- Size seating positions"
as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle user's manual.
If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or
the retailer.
"IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE FORWARD
FACING BEFORE THE CHILD'S AGE EXCEEDS 15 months (Refer to instructions)".
• Consult your vehicle's manual for information on properly using an airbag in con-
junction with this child safety seat.
• Review your vehicle's manual to determine where the child safety seat can be
installed.
• This child safety seat may be installed only on vehicle seats that are approved for
use with child restraint systems as per the vehicle manual. In addition, this child
safety seat may be used on your intended vehicle seat only if it is possible to secu-
rely install it according to this instruction manual.
• This child safety seat may be used only in conjunction with a three-point belt sys-
tem (as per UN-ECE Regulation 16).
• This child safety seat is approved for body sizes 100cm – 135cm facing forward.
• Before each use, make sure that your vehicle's three-point belt system is neither
damaged nor twisted.
• The restraint system always needs to be worn tight and the and the height of the
child safety seat head rest must be adjusted to the child's body and straps should
not be twisted.
