Cleaning

• Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical
shock, do not immerse the mains cable, mains plug or the appliance in water
or liquids.
• Never clean any parts of the coffee machine in the dishwasher.

1. Wipe the appliance's exterior surface with a soft, damp
cloth to remove stains. Wash the coffee jug and filter
basket with hot soapy water. Do not use strong detergents

or aggressive cleaners.
2. Remove the filter basket lid with the spray head key. Insert
one end of the key into the hole, slide to the left and lift
out the lid.
3. Detach the spray head from the lid with
the spray head key. Insert both ends of
the key into the spray head then turn anti-
clockwise to remove.
4. Wash the lid and spray head with hot soapy
water.
5. Dry thoroughly and re-attach to the unit.

Descaling

To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should regularly clean mineral deposits
left by the water. The amount of mineral deposit will depend on the water quality in your
area and the frequency of use.
1. Fill the water tank with an appropriate descaling agent for home coffee machines.
2. Place the coffee jug on the hot plate.
3. Press the Start/Stop button once to start the brewing cycle.
4. Turn the flow control to '  stop' . halfway the brewing cycle. Let the coffee machine
descale for 15 to 20 minutes.

6. Let the coffee machine complete two more brewing cycles with fresh water to remove
any descaling agent and scale residues.
