Overview
The remote starter module harness will interface with the existing LX ignition switch
connector, three center-splice connections, and a ground termination. Three wires
will be routed through the cowl panel, to a hood-mounted safety switch, horn and
tachometer connection.
Vehicle Preparation
1. Remove driver's side lower dash
panel, located directly under the
steering column and ignition switch
bezel.
A. Remove (1) screw from the lower
dash panel (next to hood release
lever).
B. Remove the panel on the left side
of the dashboard held in place with
clips.
C. Remove (1) screw from the left side
of the dashboard.
D. Remove the lower dash panel held
in place by 5 clips.
E. Unplug the trunk release harness
and brake release cable from the
lower dash panel.
F. Remove the metal lower dash panel
held in place with (4) 10mm bolts.
G. Remove the fabric under-dash
cover held in place with (2) push
clips.
H. Remove the ignition switch key ring
and instrument bezel panel held in
place by clips and screws (Mag-
num) by gently pulling forward.
