The LRF-04 may also be programmed from a PC via USB port, and the corresponding
software. The software is available for free on
IMPORTANT: Before communicating the LRF-04 and a PC for the first time, it is necessary
to install the LR driver. You can find this driver at CESVA's website (www.cesva.com).
Following the instructions given in this website, the installation will be easy and simple.
4. DATA CONSULTATION
As indicated above, the LRF-04 displays and records the values of the measured parameters
as well as characterising in detail the activity that has taken place in the establishment where
it is installed. The stored data may be consulted on the LCD display and the keyboard
provided with the LRF-04.
4.1 Main display
While the LRF-04 is working, the following information appears on the LCD display:
•
Current date and time.
•
The attenuation applied by the LRF-04 in numerical and graph format (progress bar).
•
Indicator of the state of the LRF-04: session, day/night.
•
Indicator of the sound pressure level measured in the establishment. If the measured
level is below 60 dBA, UND will appear. If the level is above 120 dBA, UP will appear.
•
If the sensor has been tampered with, the message SENSOR INACTIVE will appear
on the progress bar as long as the manipulation lasts. The sound pressure level
indication will be replaced by three dashes (- - -), since it will not have been possible
to measure this level.
•
If the LRF-04 is disconnected from the mains, the SUPPLY DISCONNECTION
message will appear on the progress bar.
•
When the date and time correspond to a non-working period, the NON-WORKING
PERIOD message will appear on the progress bar.
The LCD display is equipped with a light so that data may be viewed in the dark. This light
goes out when the LRF-04 is disconnected from the mains and works by battery.
