4. INSTALLATION
Before the first start, please check carefully that the electric cable has not suffered any damage
during transportation.
UNDER NO CONCEPT SHOULD THE CABLE BE USED TO RAISE OR LOWER THE ELECTRO-PUMP.
The unit must be handled with care and attention, AVOIDING ANY HITS. Place the electric pump
under the lift and begin the installation as follows:
a) Check that the screws of the counter flange of the discharge port are well tightened.
b) Attach a clamp to the upper end of the first pipe run.
c) Fix the power cable to the pipe using cable ties.
d) Lower the electric pump into the well until the clamp rests on the well.
e) Join the second section of pipe to the first after having attached another clamp at its upper
end.
f) Remove the first clamp and lower the entire system until the second clamp rests on the well.
g) Repeat the operation until the desired depth is reached.
The pump should remain AT LEAST 5 METERS BELOW THE DYNAMIC LEVEL of the well water.
UNDER NO CONCEPT LET THE ELECTRIC PUMP REST AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WELL.
5. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Connect the electric pump, through its cable, to the starting connectors, according to the following
instructions:
a) Fixed voltage electric pump with three-wire hose: according to diagram 1
b) Electric pump capable of starting at double voltage (eg 220 / 380V), with six-wire hose: for
connection to 220V see diag. two; for 380V connection see diag. 3.
c) High power electric pump, at fixed voltage, with six-wire hose: see diagram 4.
