1 GENERAL

1.1 Description

By means of the RM-010 software your computer becomes the main tool of
communication with the PROMAX-10/8+/8, allowing to carry out the following
operations simply and easily:
•
Transmit / Receive / Modify / Save all the Configuration Parameters of the
PROMAX-10/8+/8.
•
Transmit / Receive / Modify / Save Channel Plan Groups.
•
Open / Receive / Save / Print Datalogger files.
•
Upgrade the PROMAX-10/8+/8 main firmware.

1.2 Hardware and software requirements

In order to be able to use the program correctly, the following requirements need
to be met:

Hardware requirements
Minimum configuration:

IBM-compatible computer, 486 or higher.
*
10 Mbytes available on the hard disk (variable, depending on the files
of data available).
*
Pointing device or mouse (not essential, but highly recommended).
*
Serial port COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4 available.
•
Software requirements
In order to be able to run the acquired software it is essential to have, Windows
95/98/ME operating system.
