QUICK START GUIDE
for Forehead Thermometer

FIRST TIME USE:

• "Pull" plastic strip from Battery Compartment and Discard.
• Remove 37.0°C label from the LCD display and Discard.
• Remove protective sensor cap.

turn unit off.
PLEASE NOTE: The unit reads an "oral" equivalent temperature. Add 2°C (1°F) to
get a rectal equivalent. Take 3 measurements if readings appear low.

Wait for lines
to appear and
C or F flashes.
Press button again.
Place the probe gen-
tly and flush onto the
area approximately
1.25 cm (1/2 inch)
above the center of
the eyebrow. Sweep
skin from above
eyebrow to temple
until you hear a beep.
Press button again to turn unit off.

clean the area

improve the
reading
accuracy.
