Spray Function
The spray function is suitable, for exam-
ple, for moistening delicate textiles which
cannot be steam-ironed. This function is
possible at any temperature.
The water tank (8) must be filled (see the
"Filling the Water Tank" section).
• Press the
times. Water will be sprayed through
the spray nozzle (14) onto the fabric.
Vertical Steam-Ironing
Please Note!

For vertical ironing, the item of
clothing must hang on an iron with
sufficient clearance all the way round
so that the heat and moisture does
not cause any damage.
■
Do not press the steam button during
the heating process in order not to
slow this down and to prevent a dan-
ger of scalding from hot water which
may escape. Wait until the display of
the temperature level is constantly lit.
■
In the case of delicate fabrics, hold
the iron a few centimetres away from
the fabric.
1. Make sure that the water tank (8) has
been filled (see the "Filling the Water
Tank" section).
2. The brush attachment (2) can be used
to freshen up textiles. Slide it onto
the tip of the bottom of the iron (9)
(Picture B).
3. Plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
STANDBY lights up on the dis-
play (13).
4. Use the button + (11) to select the
temperature level MAX and allow the
device to heat up.
5. Hold the bottom of the iron upright,
with the tip tilted forwards slightly,
press the steam button (4) and move

the bottom of the iron (9) back and
forth on the fabric.
6. When the steam which emerges
becomes weaker and the display of
the temperature level flashes (because
the device is reheating), place the iron
in a horizontal position and allow it to
heat up. Do not turn the iron upside
down!
7. If the water tank (8) is empty, steam
will no longer be produced. Follow
the instructions in the "Filling the
Water Tank" section to top it up.
After Use

Shortly after use, the brush attach-
ment may still be very hot. Wait until
the device and the brush attachment
have cooled down completely before
removing it.
1. After ironing, place the iron (1) upright
on its base (7).
2. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
3. Allow the bottom of the iron (9) to
cool down completely.
4. Empty the water tank (8): Open the
water tank lid (15) , hold the iron over
a sink or similar outlet and turn it
upside down. Allow all of the water to
run out of the water tank.
5. Connect the iron to the mains power
again.
6. Use the button + (11) to select the
temperature level MAX and allow the
device to heat up.
7. Press the steam button (4) until the
rest of the water evaporates.
8. Disconnect the device from the mains
and allow it to cool down completely.
