Before You Begin

WARNING: Risk of personal injury. If the water temperature is set too high,
scalding will occur. The water temperature should never be set above 120°F
(49°C).
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Long screws, for installing trim, can damage
the K-2971-KS valve. When using this valve and trim in a fiberglass or acrylic
installation, use the 88526 Thin Wall Installation Kit.
NOTICE: Do not force the handle in any direction. Forcing the handle will damage
the valve.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
The finished wall or bath/shower unit must be installed prior to installing this
trim.
If wall thickness is greater than 3/4" (1.9 cm), use 58226 Deep Rough-in Service
Kit to add 3/4" (1.9 cm) of depth to the handle assembly.
The handle assembly illustrations may not represent your actual product. The
installation instructions still apply.

NOTICE: Ne forcer la poignée dans aucune direction. Forcer la poignée
endommagera la valve.
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Le mur fini ou la baignoire/douche doit être installé avant d'installer cette
garniture.
