POWER INPUT AND DISCONNECT CONNECTIONS:
The MPC2 Control Panel can be powered by 100-600 VAC. Connect the power supply lines for the controller per the
following drawings. The distribution block will be located in the bottom center of the inner panel. The installer should
punch the appropriate sized hole to install the conduit for the input power.
Note: If an external switch/circuit breaker or external overcurrent protection device is not part of the equipment, customer
must provide an appropriate device that is suitably located and easily accessible and marked as the disconnecting device.

ALARM DRY CONTACT CONNECTION
Wire the 6-connector cord as shown below. For single alarm, Alarm 1 will be wire pins 1-3; Alarm 2 will be wire pins 7-9.
Pins 4 - 6 are not used. Locate the surface mount connector on the side of the temperature controller. Align the cord
connector with the receptacle and insert.
Pins 1, 7: NO (normally open)
Pins 2, 8: NC (normally closed)
Pins 3, 9: Common
RS-485 COMMUNICATIONS CONNECTION
Wire the 3-connector cord as shown below. Locate the surface mount connector on the side of the temperature controller.
Align the cord connector with the receptacle and insert.
Pin 2: RS485 +
Pin 3: RS485 -
Pin 4: Ground
HEATER CORD ATTACHMENT
Locate the surface mount connector on the side of the temperature controller. Align the heater cord connector with the
heater power surface mount connector and insert. If your heater has a connector other than that on the MPC2, you may
elect to purchase adapter cables (preferred) or changing the plug on the heater. NOTE: changing the plug requires a
special crimping tool and could result in the equipment no longer holding agency approval. Please see Accessories on
page 6 of this manual, the BriskHeat catalog or website for optional cables, plugs and accessories.
