2. Testing
WARNING: The limit microswitches must be switched when the window is closed. To be sure of that, carry out the
adjustment on the tie-rod (7) only after feeding the operator in order to pull the chains completely back.
The actuator is electronically protected against immediate overload. To guarantee a good lasting performance of the actuator,
do not use this protection as an alternative to the limit microswitches.
3. User instructions

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING – To reduce risk of severe injury:
• READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
• Never let children operate or play with the control.
• Keep the moving window in sight and away from people and objects until it is completely closed; do not approach moving
parts until they have come to a complete stop
• Prevent liquids from entering the actuator
• Test the actuator monthly; check at sight for damages or wear in the supply cable
• to open the window in case of power failure, remove the split pin (see fig. A – B item 5)
• do not carry out any intervention on the actuator, do not remove or disassemble parts of the actuator: in case of malfunction
contact a qualified service person only

4. Troubleshooting
Symptom
Actuator does not operate (no sound from motor)
Possible solution
• Check power at transformer, 24V DC output.
• Refer to Wire diagram and check connections.

Symptom
Actuator does not move or operates erratically (sound from motor)
Possible solution
• Be sure window is unlocked
• Be sure window operates freely without actuator attached
• Window may be too heavy
• Transformer incorrectly wired to actuator (see wire diagram)

Symptom
Actuator does not close completly
Possible solution
• Be sure window operates freely without actuator attached
• Check for the limit microswitch (see "2. testing") and make any necessary adjustment by acting on the tie-rod (7)

Symptom
Actuator closes when open button is pressed
Possible solution
• Refer to Wire diagram and check connections.
