Faults/troubleshooting

7.1

Overview

Fault: Device indicates "Water level okay" but it is not correct.
Possible cause
Conductive medium or
moisture on the cable.
Fault: Solenoid valve or pump at the Lp/Np output does not
switch.
Possible cause
Overload protection has
tripped.
Fault: Solenoid valve is not activated but still refills water.
Possible cause
Valve not working because the
channels in the valve are
blocked.
In case of external tripping
(contact) there are interfering
devices in the vicinity of the
cable of the connected external
contact.

Faults/troubleshooting
Remedy
Pull the green plug
carefully out of the plug
board in the device and
check whether the control
responds with the blue
and orange LED at the
two pins.
Test the cable extension
with a dipole cable.
Use the available 25 m
cable.
Remedy
Replace the 4 A fuse. This
is next to the 315 mA
fuse. These must not be
confused.
Remedy
Remove and clean the
solenoid valve. A ball
valve is to be preferred for
hard or dirty water.
Do not lay the cable with
power cables or use a
shielded cable for external
tripping.
