The optical transmitter (OPT-TX51) and the optical receiver (OPT- RX51) for the distribution of satellite and terrestrial signals
through a single cable of mono-modal fibre optics. The signals of the four satellite polarizations and the terrestrial signal are
transmitted.
The two modules also transmit an auxiliary upgrade channel for the transmission/reception of data or audio/video signals.
The upgrade channel needs external devices that use a wavelength within the range of 1260 ÷ 1500nm.
This solution allows one to distribute the TV (PAL(*) and COFDM) and the IF satellite band onto a single link in a mono-modal
fibre optics.

connector of the optical transmitter. Used for
the link with fibre optics of the auxiliary chan-
nel, if any.
7. GROUNDING SCREW
1. ALARM LED: alarm LED, which indicates
that the input optical power is too low.
2. IN (SAT-TV OPTICAL LINK): SC-APC in-
put connector of the optical receiver. Used for
the link with fibre optics of the satellite polari-
zation signals and TV signals.
3. AUX in/out (OPTICAL LINK OF THE
AUXILIARY CHANNEL): SC-APC input/out-
put connector of the optical receiver. Used for
the link with fibre optics of the auxiliary chan-
nel, if any.
