The flexible cord fitted to this appliance
has three cores for use with a 3-pin 13-
Amp or 3-pin 15-Amp plug. If a B.S. 1363
(13 Amp) fused plug is used, it should be
fitted with a 13 Amp fuse.
Important
The wires in this mains lead are coloured
in accordance with the following code:
GREEN-AND-YELLOW: EARTH
BLUE: NEUTRAL
BROWN: LIVE
The colours of wires in the mains lead of
this appliance might not correspond with
the colour markings identifying the termi-
nals in your plug.
Proceed as follows:
Connect the GREEN-AND-YELLOW wire
to the plug terminal marked by "E" or an
earth symbol, or coloured GREEN or
GREEN-AND-YELLOW. Connect the
BLUE wire to the plug terminal marked "N"
or coloured BLACK.
Connect the BROWN wire to the plug ter-
minal marked "L" or coloured RED
Temperature
regulation
The cabinet is started by setting the
temperature regulating knob
the middle of the range.
In some models the knob is child-proof and
a coin or something similar must be used
to turn the knob to the desired setting. In
other models the temperature can be set
by just turning the knob with the fingers.
After an hour or two the cabinet will cool
down.
If you require a lower temperature, turn the
knob towards "Max". For a higher tempera-
ture, turn the knob towards "0".
When the temperature regulating knob is in
position "0" the compressor is stopped.
Note: The temperature inside the cabinet
can vary, depending on the temperature in
the room, the number of times the door is
opened, the location in the room, etc.
These factors must be considered when
setting the temperature.
Using the cabinet,
accessories
It is warmest in the door and the upper part
of the cabinet; the bottom of the cabinet is
coldest.
The short shelf
as a bottle shelf. To tilt the shelf, lower the
rear support down to the next shelf sup-
port.
Vegetable drawer/drawers
The drawer/drawers in the bottom of the
refrigerator are very suitable for storing
fruit and vegetables. The overlying shelf
covers the drawer and prevents stored
items from drying out.
Serving boxes in the door
The boxes are ideal for all kinds of food.
The tight-fitting lids prevent drying out and
save much time in tedious wrapping and
unwrapping.
The serving boxes are made of material
that remains unaffected by mineral oil, fats
and weak acids. They withstand tempera-

tures below 0°C and up to 100°C and can
be cleaned in a dishwasher, but must
never be placed close to the heating ele-
ment.
Serving boxes can also be purchased as
accessories.
Bottle shelf/shelves in the door
The bottle shelf can be adjusted in height
by moving the special fitting to another set
of holes in the shelf
The bottle shelf can be adjusted in steps of
10 cm.
