1. PRESENTATION

The C.A 801 and C.A 803 temperature adapters are designed
to transform any digital multimeter into a K-type sensor
thermometer.
They measure temperatures between:
- 40°C and +1,000°C,
40°F and +1,800°F.
Specifications of the standard K sensor delivery: measurement
range -40°C to +200°C - class 1 - length 1.10 m.
There are a variety of K sensors available.
See chapter «5. To order» for a list of these sensors and their
references.
Common functions
Connectable to C.A 5205, C.A 5210, C.A 5220, C.A 5230
and C.A 5240 digital multimeters.
Choice of the units (°C or °F).
Verification of the K sensor connection
«LOW BATT» LED indicating when battery is low
Display of range overshoots.
Specific C.A 803 function
Presence of an RCD input: to obtain T1, T2 or the difference
T1-T2.
