2.1. Preparation

Connect the IP camera to a 100 Mbit Ethernet
LAN
▸ Power supply via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or
suitable power supply unit (on site)

Connection via Ethernet

The IP camera is set up as a DHCP client, i.e.
it obtains its IP address from a DHCP server.
Use Axis Camera Management Software to
locate and set-up existing cameras within your
network. Changes to the IP configurations are
possible within 20 minutes after enabling the
power supply. To do so, enter the camera's IP
address in your browser's address line. Click
on "Network TCP/IP settings"
