Safety instructions
1.1 General
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for
correct use.
•
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
•
Keep this user manual.
Risk of electric shock
•
Do not operate the device with wet hands!
•
Attend to the maximum output currents of the product!
•
Do not open the housing.
•
Do not modify product and accessories.
•
Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.
•
Do not insert objects into air vents or sockets!
A defective device may not be put into operation, but must be protected
against further use.
•
Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
•
In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other
problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or
producer.
•
Installation, assembly, maintenance and repair work must be carried out
only by trained electrical specialists.
Not recommended for children and people with physical and / or mentally limi-
ted capabilities.
•
Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, mic-
rowaves, vibrations and mechanical pressure.
•
Never let the product unattended when in use.
•
Never operate irons, radiant heaters and similar devices that are a fire
hazard via voltage transformers.
•
DO NOT connect devices connected to the product via other interfaces
on the vehicle at the same time.
•
Use the product with running engine to avoid fast dicharging of the bat-
tery.
•
Use the product only when the vehicle is parked.
•
Disconnect the product from the vehicle battery before driving.
•
The vehicle controls must not be affected by the installation and use of
the product.
Explosion hazard
•
Do not operate the product in an explosive environment.
•
Do not use the product near flammable surfaces and substances and
explosive materials.
Hot surfaces
•
Do not touch the housing during or immediately after use.
•
Do not place any combustible materials (paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.)
on the product.
•
Do not cover cooling fins and fans.
•
Do not use the product in sealed environments.
The unit heats up during operation.

Description and function
2.1 Product
This product is a power inverter and made for using in motor vehicles. Use
it to operate household devices with Safety or Euro plugs, like power supply
units or vacuum cleaners. Use is permitted only for home area and 12 V car
power outlets.

Intended use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in
chapter "Description and Function" or in the "Safety Instructions".
Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these
regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and
damages to persons and property.

Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and ensure compatibility.

Connection and operation
Ground short circuit and fire hazard
•
Do NOT connect USB devices, which are already connected to the pow-
er inverter, parallely back by another interface of the car!
•
Never place the DC/AC inverver near flammable materials or where
flammable gases may develop.
•
Make sure that the DC/AC power inverter is switched off before you start
the connection.
1. Connect the product to an easily accessible 12 V car socket.
2. Connect your household electronic device to the Safety socket.
Please note the maximum load of 150 W. Electrical appliances that genera-
te heat and cold generally have too high an energy requirement for this pro-
duct.
3. Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON (-).
4. Make sure that the operating LED is on.
For some car types you have to switch on ignition.
5. Switch the ON/OFF switch to OFF (o) after use and disconnect all cable
connections.

Changing the Fuse
Risk of overloading and fire
•
Only use fuses of the original strength!
•
Never use stronger fuses. See also chapter 2.4 "Specifications".
1. Disconnect the 12 V vehicle plug.
2. Pull the fuse from the rear of the housing.
3. Dispose of the used fuse as described in section 9.1.
4. Insert a new and identical fuse.
