SAFETY

Use the machine only if it is in perfect technical condition and in accordance with its in-
tended purpose, safety and hazard awareness! Immediately rectify any malfunctions which
could impair safety!
It is generally forbidden to change or make ineffective the safety equipment of the ma-
chine!
The machine is intended exclusively for the following activities:
Information on the condition of the workpieces:
- There must be no foreign objects, such as nails, in the workpiece!
- Only one workpiece may be machined at a time, regardless of its dimensions!
- It is not allowed to process several and also no bundles of cut material.
- To prevent wedging and recoil of the cut material, bent cut material must always be
placed in the feed tray so that the outer edge faces the circular saw.

The improper use or disregard of the explanations and information described in these in-
structions will result in the expiry of all warranty and compensation claims against Zipper
GmbH.
Unauthorized use:
- Operation of the machine on uneven and/or slippery ground
- Changes in the construction of the machine
- Dismantling or switching off the protective devices
- Operation of the machine without the provided safety devices
- Modifying or rendering ineffective the safety equipment of the machine
- Operation of the machine under explosive conditions

11.1 Safety instructions

Warning signs and/or stickers on the machine that are illegible or have been re-
moved must be replaced immediately!
Local laws and regulations may determine the minimum age of the operator and
limit the use of this machine!
To avoid malfunctions, damages and health impairments, the following measures for safe
working must also be observed unconditionally:
- Only operate the machine in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors.
- Choose a level, vibration-free, non-slip surface for installation.
- Ensure adequate lighting conditions at the workplace.
- Before each use, check the machine for proper condition (tight fit of the saw blade,
tight fit of the screws, etc.).
