4.4 PNEUMATIC CONNECTION

Connect supply tube A to air connection B (Fig. 9).
The pneumatic installation must have a pressure between 7
and 8 bar, and the air must be filtered, dehumidified and
non-lubricated, since air lubrication damages the pneumatic
installation.
Supply tube A must have an inside diameter of at least 8 mm
to guarantee an operating pressure of 6 bar.
The machine is equipped with a safety device that prevents
the machine from being started if the pressure is below 4 bar.

4.5 GENERAL DUST COLLECTION CONNECTION

The machine must always be operated with
the dust collection system connected.
Thorough dust collection will remove any foreign body, eli-
minate the risk of breathing dust and is necessary for correct
machine operation.
Dust particles damage the pneumatic elements, dull the bits
and soil the glue.

4.5.1 Virutex AS382L dust collector

For the PAE85T trimmer, we recommend our AS382L dust co-
llector, which has great suction power, 340 m
tank capacity. It is also designed to operate under machine
control, operating only during the trimming cycles.
• To install the AS382L dust collector, connect collection tube
C to collector D, using adaptor E (included with the machine)
(Fig. 9) and its remote control cable to base F (Fig.10) on the
machine.
• The dust collector must also be connected to an indepen-
dent external power source.
4.5.2 External D.100 dust collector connection
If you wish to connect suction to the machine, a general ins-
tallation measuring 100 mm in diameter must have a suction
power of 1000 m /h.

To install it, remove the adaptor (E) and connect the flexible
tube (G) with a diameter of 100 mm to the collector D (Fig.
11).
Fasten the tube with brackets (not included).

system, must be positioned so as not to
hamper the operator's movements during
operation.
