NOTE: This control only works in conjunction with Type RF DSP amplifiers that are equipped with
the 4-Pin DIN connection. Not all Type RF DSP amplifiers are equipped with this 4-Pin DIN
connection. This control WILL NOT operate, nor connect to Type RF bd amplifiers with the
6-Pin DIN connection.The 6-Pin DIN connection on the Type RF bd amplifiers is used in
conjunction with the bd Sync cable.
1. Connect the source unit to the Type RF DSP amplifier with a male/male 4-Pin DIN cable.
2. Ensure the amplifier is connected and powered on.
NOTE: If the amplifier is connected to the source unit with the remote (REM) wire, the amplifier will
power on when the source unit is turned on.
3. Press and hold the Menu button (volume knob) until RF AMP DSP / FOR SETUP MENU
appears on the source unit display.
NOTE: If "Amplifier Not Responding" appears on the display, recheck connections and ensure
amplifier powers on.
4. Your Type RF DSP amplifier's setups can now be changed using the following buttons at the
source unit. Use the Installation and Operation manual that came with your amplifier for
procedures on menu selections and changing settings.
