General

Description and Function
2.1
Description
This product is a surge protector that protects your devices against overvoltages,
e.g. against lightning strike. The integrated child safety device protects against unin-
tended contact and the operating LED shows whether voltage is present.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparing
•
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and
peripherals. These must be identical.
•
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.

Connecting

Connect your household devices to the surge protector.
2.
Connect the surge protector to a good accessible safety
power socket.
The overvoltage protection is active when the operating LED is lit.
The operation LED lights when voltage is applied.
