4 - Operating the PDA
To turn the PDA on, with a charged battery fitted or to resume from
'suspend' (off) state, press and release the Power on/off Button. Wait for
the screen to light up.
To turn off the PDA (suspend) press and release the power button.
The screen backlight typically turns off after a pre-defined interval of
inactivity. Pressing a key or tapping the screen brings it back on. To turn
the backlight on or off manually when the PDA is on, press and hold the
power button. After prolonged inactivity the PDA enters the suspend state.
TETRA Service LED
Flashing green = In Service
Red = Out of Service
Flashing red = Connecting to
the network
Solid orange = Transmit inhibit
5 - Carrying Accessories
One of the following carrying solutions is supplied with your TETRA PDA:
either 1. Belt clip kit and carry strap kit or 2. Carrying case. The belt clip kit
and carry strap kit include all screws and mounting material necessary for
assembling. Details of fitting these are described in the feature user guide.
Power Status LED
Solid red = Battery charging
Green = Ready to use
(fully charged)
Blinking red = Error
W-LAN signal LED
(when fitted)
Green = Excellent
Yellow = Good
Blinking yellow = Poor
