4. Dust on the lens can impair sound, or even cause the playback
to stop.
5. Under the following circumstances, there will be condensed
dew on the lens:
a) When a heat source is just turned on nearby.
b) In a very damp room.
c) When the unit is just moved from a colder place to a
hotter one.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF CD DISCS
Please take out the disc by holding the brim of the discs as
below; try to not touch the data side of the disc.
Do not attach any labels on any side of the disc, and do not
scratch the faces of the disc.
When a disc is being played, the rotation speed is very high.
Make sure not to use damaged, scratched, cracked or bent discs.
Fingerprints or dust on the lens can impair the laser beam and
affect the signal's quality. A poor signal quality generates a poor
playing quality. Use a soft cloth to wipe the disc, from the disc
centre towards the outside.
If the disc is very dirty, start the wiping with a wet soft cloth, and
then use a dry soft cloth to wipe it dry. Do not use detergents,
