3. Loading onto and unloading
from a truck
WArnInG
When loading/unloading the ma-
chine onto/from a truck, select a
location that is flat, stable, away
from traffic, and free of potentially
dangerous objects.
Turn off the engine of the truck, and
ensure that the truck will not move
by applying the parking brake.
For the ramp, select a board with
sufficient width, length, strength,
and surface roughness.
«Guidelines for Ramp»
For the ramp, use a board that meets
the following requirements:
• Length: Four times the height of
the truck bed
• Width: Wide enough to support the
crawlers of the machine
• Srength: Strong enough to support
the weight of the machine
• Surface: Treated/textured to resist
slipping
Attach the ramp hooks securely to
the truck bed so that the ramp is
even with the truck bed and will not
come loose.
