WHEN NOT IN USE

n Grasp the plug firmly when disconnecting this
appliance to avoid damage to the cord while pulling .
Place the cord away from traffic areas so it will not be
stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage .
n Turn off water faucets to relieve pressure on hoses
and valves and to minimize leakage if a break or
rupture should occur . Check the condition of the fill
hoses; GE recommends changing the hoses every 5
years .
