Switch off the device.
To switch off the device, release the "ON/OFF" switch and the "safety
switch". Remove the battery of the device after use.
Note: When the motor is switched off, the blade unit continues to run for a
while. Spark may also be formed in the ventilation slots depending on the
operating conditions. However, this does not imply a defect!
8. Trimming
Vertical trimming
It is advisable to trim the two vertical sides of a hedge first before trim-
ming the top. Trim by moving the blade unit of the hedge trimmer in a
circular motion from bottom to top.
