Caution
- A damaged battery could irritate your

contact, immediately rinse the affected

Attention
- The battery may only be charged if the
lock body housing is not damaged. If
there is visible damage on the lock
body such as cracks or holes, the
battery must not be charged!
- Do not use or store the product in
areas where the temperature could
reach below -20°C or above +40°C. Do
not expose the product to direct
sunlight for long periods of time!
- Never attempt to open the product
and remove the battery. This could
lead to damage (battery outgassing,
short circuit, etc.).
- Do not use a high-pressure cleaner

agents to clean the lock.
- Check the lock for damage at least once a
year. If there is visible damage on the
lock body such as cracks or holes, the lock
must no longer be used.

First commissioning and charging
the battery
When delivered, the lock is in transport
mode (The bar is only latched in the lock,
not locked).
In order to use the lock, the battery must
first be fully charged.
While charging the device, install the
Smart X app (→ chapter 2, page 30).
