ADJUSTING THE BIT DEPTH
Set the required bit depth with the adjuster knob.
IMPORTANT:
The maximum bit depth is 2 mm – do not
attempt to increase this depth.

REPLACING PLANING BITS
1. Undo the three nuts holding the planing
bits in place with a spanner.
2. Press out the planing bits from the steel
holder with a small screwdriver.
3. Insert the new planing bits and tighten
the three screws.

GUIDE PLATE
The guide plate enables correct planing of long
and uneven surfaces. Fix the guide plate in the
required position by tightening the knob.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch off the product and pull out the plug
before checking, cleaning, maintenance
or adjustments, and before replacing
accessories.
IMPORTANT:
Maintenance, adjustments, inspection and
replacement of carbon brushes, including
any repairs must only be carried out by an
authorised service centre or other qualified
personnel using identical spare parts.
Lubricate the guide roller with a little oil now
and then to prolong life span.
CLEANING
• Do not use strong detergent or solvent,
this can damage the plastic parts on the
product. Clean with a soft cloth moistened
with a mild detergent. Do not expose the
product to water or any other liquid.
• Keep the ventilation openings on the
product clean and free from foreign
objects.
• Clean the ventilation openings at regular
intervals.
STORAGE
Store the product, instructions and all
accessories in a clean, dry, frost-free place, and
out of the reach of unauthorised persons. In
this way you always have all the information
and all the parts easily accessible.
