Economial electronic filter pump, perfect for water movement and filteration with a
low power consumption. Suitable for Koi and fish ponds.
With the remote control the water flow can be set to the desired level and thereby
energy can be saved.
Safety
• Read this manual carefully before usage.
• Suitable for outdoor use, the pump can be submerged.
• Ensure voltage shown on the label match to the mains supply voltage.
• The PondECO Plus RC plug may only be connected to an earthed wall socket. Ensure
that water cannot reach the socket.
• Take great care using electricity in combination with water, do not operate with wet
hands or plug is wet. Never operate the pump if there are people in the water.
• Unplug or switch off all appliances in the pond before carrying out maintenance.
• The power cord must never be used to carry or move the pump.
• In the event of damage to the unit, cord or plug, never use this device and recycle it.
• The temperature of the fluid being pumped must never exceed 35°C.
• The pump must not be used to pump salt water, sewage, flammable, corrosive or
explosive liquids (e.g. petroleum oil, petrol, thinner), grease, oils or foodstuffs.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without
supervision.
Run Dry and overload protection
The pump is equipped with Run Dry Protection, the
pump stops after 10 seconds without water flow.
It will try to re-start after 10 seconds. If there is still
no water flow, it will stop and restart again.
This cycle is repeated 5 times, then the pump stops
working completely.
To restart, ensure the water supply to the pump is
sufficient, take the plug from mains, wait 60 seconds
and plug it back in.
The pump has a thermal overload safety device. In the event of any overheating of the
motor, this device automatically switches off the pump. The cooling time is roughly 15 to
20 minutes, then the pump automatically comes on again. If the overload cutout is
tripped, it is essential to identify and deal with the cause of the overheating.
