• Check the carbon brushes regularly and
replace them when they are worn down to
approx. 1/3.
• Check at regular intervals that all the
screw unions on the angle grinder are
properly tightened. Retighten if necessary.
CLEANING
• Always clean the tool after use.
• Keep the guard, ventilation openings and
motor casing clean.
• Wipe clean with a clean cloth, or blow
clean with compressed air at low pressure.
The accumulation of metal dust can cause
short circuiting between internal
components and the casing, which can
make the casing live – risk of electric
shock.
SERVICE
• Always check the power cord and
extension cord for damage, wear and
ageing before use. A damaged power cord
or plug must be replaced by an authorised
service centre or other qualified personnel
to ensure safe use.
• The grease in the gearbox must be
changed by an authorised service centre
after a long period of use.
• Contact an authorised service centre if
there is a fault on the power tool.
