CHANGING BATTERY
Two opposing battery compartments including inserted batteries
are installed in the device and secured with Phillips screws (A).
Proceed as follows to remove the batteries:
Pull off rubber protection (B) from pressure gauge to the rear.
Loosen Phillips screws (A) until battery compartment is
released.
Using a small slot screwdriver (C) to lever out the battery
compartment (D) including the inserted battery (E).
Hold the battery (E) and the battery compartment (D) and pull it
out of the pressure gauge.
Remove the opposite battery compartment in the same way.
Replace the battery with a new one, push the battery
compartment back in to the pressure gauge and secure it with
the Phillips screws.
Attention: When inserting the battery, make sure that the side
marked with (E) is the negative pole of the battery.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and
packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose battery in household waste.
Batteries should be disposed of in a responsible manner, they must be disposed at
appropriate collection point. Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in
compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact
your local solid waste authority for recycling information or give the product for disposal to
BGS technic KG or to an electrical appliances retailer.
