TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The line does not feed out
automatically.
Grass winds round the trimmer
head.
The motor does not start when
the speed control is pressed.

Possible cause
The line has got stuck.
Not enough line on the spool.
The trimmer line is too short.
The line has got entangled on
the spool.
Tall grass trimmed at ground
level.
The battery is mot correctly
inserted.
The battery is flat.
The handle is not correctly
assembled.
Action
Lubricate the line with silicone
spray.
Put in new trimmer line
according to the instructions.
Press in the lock button and
pull out the trimmer line by
hand.
Remove the line from the
spool and wind it on as per the
instructions.
Trim tall grass in steps.
Check that the battery is locked
in place before use.
Charge the battery according to
the instructions.
Check that the bottom part
of the handle is correctly
assembled with the coupling
on the top part of the handle.
