3. Under the Download heading, put "FireWire" in the Search
Software Info text box. This will take you to the FireWire
Download Updates page.

Select the appropriate FireWire installation for your system.
This will automatically start the Download Manager and the file
will be downloaded onto the desktop. (If you need additional
assistance with downloading, scroll down on the page and click
on the link under the Installation Instruction section.)
4. When the downloading is complete, look for the
"FireWire 2.X.smi" icon on the desktop and double-click it.
5. The OS will decompress the disk image and the "FireWire"
icon will be placed on the desktop. Double-click this icon.
6. There are four files in the disk image. Read "About
FireWire" for more information, and then double-click the
"Installer" icon to start the installation.
