Incorrect handling of the bike trailer can

Fit the bike trailer according to the
instructions and diagrams.

Front, back, left and right etc. are
indicated in the direction of travel.
SIDE AND BACK PANELS
Fitting/removing springs
To fit and remove the bike trailer the pins and
retaining clips (22) on the crossbar (25) and
tow bar (18) must be put in or taken out.
1.
Removal of pin (top of diagram):
–
Fold down the retaining clip.
–
Pull the pin out of the hole.
2.
Insertion of pin (bottom of diagram):
–
Put the pin in the hole.
–
Lift the retaining clip over the end of
the pin.
–
Check that the retaining clip is firmly
in place over the end of the pin.

Opening/closing the side panels
1.
Lay out the parts for the base unit,
consisting of the base, right side panel (1),
left side panel (2) and handle (5).
2.
Close the side panels.
3.
Follow the instructions in the reverse order
to open the side panels.

Crossbar and back panel
1.
Lift the crossbar (25).
2.
Put the eyelets on the back panel (27) on
the crossbar.
3.
Fit the right end of the crossbar in the
fastener on the right side panel (1).
4.
Put in the pin (22) and secure with the
retaining clip.
5.
Release the retaining clip on the pin and
follow the instructions in the reverse order
to remove the crossbar and the back
panel.

HOOD
1.
Put the hood (12) over the top of the bike
trailer.
2.
Place the hood over the fasteners (28)
for the handle (5), so that they are easily
accessible.
3.
Fasten the back, bottom edge of the hood
with the Velcro fastener.
