1. Intended Purpose
RainKits (powder coated sheet steel RAL 7035 or stainless steel) are designed for use on enclosures of the product ranges H370/H390 and H375/H395
with UL Type Rating according to UL-File E90604.
Designed to UL50 / UL50E, RainKits are used if Type Rating Type 3R is required in addition to the existing Type Ratings of the enclosure - see UL Label.
The enclosures can be modified either in the factory or later by the user.
If special operating conditions exist that exceed the requirements of Type 3R, please contact the manufacturer for special arrangements.
RainKits and any enclosures used with a RainKit are not designed for dynamic loads.
2. General Information
These instructions are an integral part of the product.
They are meant for skilled persons in industry and trade and for instructed persons to mount RainKits in compliance with the applicable standards.
Please keep them in a safe place for future reference. The same applies to assembly and operating instructions for accessories.
