Cleaning mode (CLEAN UP)
When the whirlpool is switched off manually or the water
pump or blower come to the end of its cycle, after 30
minutes a cleaning cycle is started, which lasts for 30
minutes (factory setting). The duration of the cleaning cycle
can be extended by defi ning the length in the user settings

Water exchange in the whirlpool
The water in the spa should be replaced approximately
every 3-6 months. This depends among other things on the
frequency of use, proper care, water quality and many other
factors.

Activation when the temperature is low
During the wintertime, the pool should be emptied and
covered with cover, power supply should bedisconected.
GB
If the device is to be started after a long period of not being
used and the temperature is below zero, please proceed
with caution as the water may remain frozen in some
places. This can stop the fl ow of water and even damage
the whirlpool as a consequence of its being operated
incorrectly. To avoid situations of this kind, we advise
contacting an authorised service provider before switching
it on again.

Cleaning products
We recommend using whirlpool testers before bathing for
the fi rst time and during use (no less frequently than once
every two weeks). We recommend a whirlpool tester with
item number 67721. The correct pH-range for bathing is
7.0 to 7.4.
The pool can be disinfected using a granular disinfectant
(article no. 68874).
We recommend that the quantity of free chlorine in the
water is 1.0–1.5 milligrams/litre.
■
You must ensure the water is the correct pH-value
before chlorination!
■
The amount of free chlorine in the water may not be
less than 0.3 milligrams/litre!
■
We recommend that the agents are used at least 12
hours before bathing!
■
The pool should not be covered during disinfection.

If children are using the whirlpool, they must be under
constant supervision by an adult.

The water temperature in the whirlpool should not exceed
the average body temperature. The ideal temperature

Maintenance
Bath products containing solids such as moor mud, oils etc.
cannot be used.
We recommend using HOESCH foam baths for whirlpools.
After bathing, rinse the surface of the bath with water and
wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive materials! For
occasional more thorough cleaning, spray a little cleaning
agent e.g. HOESCH Cleaner (article no. 699900) on the
surface and wipe with a soft cloth. Remove stubborn dirt
with warm water and a mild liquid cleaning agent or soap
solution.
Wipe away limescale deposits with spirit vinegar and water
(avoid the fi ttings!). Follow the instructions when using drain
cleaners!
Small scratches or fragments of the shiny surface that have
lost their smoothness should be removed with the use
of e.g. the HOESCH maintenance set, item no.: 699100.
Note:
Fittings and built-in elements should only be cleaned with
a soft cloth. Damage caused as a result of improper use of
chemicals, acids and scrubbing agents will not be taken into
consideration by us as grounds for a complaint.
⚠
Note: do not use solvents, soaps or other
cleaning agents!
