11. Cleaning
WARNING!
The grilling plates will become very hot! Do not touch
them, there is a risk of burns! Always allow the appli-
ance to cool down before replacing or removing the
grilling plates.
WARNING!
Live components. Never immerse the appliance in wa-
ter or other liquids! There is a risk of electric shock!
ATTENTION!
Sensitive surfaces. Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleansing agents on the non-stick coating of the grilling
plates and the housing of the appliance because these
items could damage the surfaces. Do not clean the grilling
plates in a dishwasher.
Pull the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Remove the oil drip tray on the back of the appliance. Hold it horizontally when
removing it. Dispose of the oil in the household rubbish. Rinse the oil drip tray
with water and a mild washing-up liquid.
You can leave the grilling plates in the appliance. Wipe the cooled down grilling
plates and the top of the appliance with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
If you remove the grilling plates, you can clean them under running water using
a soft cloth.
Dry the grilling plates thoroughly with a soft cloth.
