• Unwind the mains cable fully when using the appliance.

3.5. Handling the appliance safely
• Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
• Never use the appliance if it has been damaged or if the
mains cable or mains plug show signs of damage.
• Do not move the appliance while it is in use.
• CAUTION! The grilling plates will become very hot! Do not
touch them, there is a risk of burns! Always allow the appli-
ance to cool down before replacing or removing the grilling
plates.
• CAUTION! The touchable surfaces of the appliance will be-
come very hot during operation. During operation, only
touch the appliance on the handle! Use oven gloves for this
purpose. There is a risk of burns!
• Sensitive surfaces on the grilling plates. To avoid scratch-
es, please avoid the use of sharp objects. Use heat-resistant
wooden or plastic cutlery to remove food from the grill.
• Steam is released during grilling. Do not reach into the steam;
there is a risk of scalding!
• Do not use the appliance outside.
