Mounting is only permitted on bicycles with mudguards that provide a sufficiently tight fit. A tight fit is normally given if the
normal position does not change after mounting when a force of 2N is applied and a torque of 1 Nm is applied around the
vertical axis. After a continuous load of 5 hours with 200 N has been applied, it must be ensured that the luminaire automati-
cally returns to the prescribed normal position.
Before each ride, make sure the rear light is securely mounted and not obscured.

Important:

The 6-12 V DC version is marked with the
symbol DC AC. It should be noted that the use of
the 6-12 V DC AC version is only permitted for
bicycles with electric assisted pedalling (e-bikes)
if, following a discharge-based shut-down of the
support drive, an uninterrupted power supply to
the lighting system is ensured for at least two
hours, or if the drive motor can be used tempora-
rily as a generator in order to continue to supply
power to the lighting system.
The light is switched on/off using the bike control
unit with pedal assistance.
