Installation problems: Causes and Remedies

If you suspect something is wrong, immediately switch power off. Immediately stop using it and call the
store where you purchased it. Never try to repair the unit yourself because it is dangerous to do so.
SYMPTOM
GENERAL
No power
No sound
If the above solutions cannot help, press the RESET hole.
DISC
Disc is inserted
but no sound.
Disc sound skips, tone
quality is low
Sound skips due
to vibration
RADIO
Interference on reception
of radio-station
Loss of the memorized
radio stations
ERROR MESSAGES ON THE DISPLAY
NO FILE: Disc is not CD or contains non MP3 files.
ERR-7: Disc upside down.
ERR-11: MP3 error, check the disc.
ERR-3 o ERR-4: Disc mechanism error: press to eject the disc.
In case thath the disc cannot be ejected press the RESET switch and press eject again.
CAUSE
Car engine switched off.
Cable is not correctly connected.
Fuse is burnt.
Disc with label showing downward
Disc dirty or damaged.
Disc dirty or damaged.
Mounting angle is over 30°.
Unit is not firmy fixed.
Station too far or signal too weak.
Current-supply cables are not
correctly connected.
REMEDY
Turn on the car ignition
ACC o ON
Check connection.
Replace fuse.
Check volume or mute on/off.
Turn disc to have label showing upward.
Clean or replace disc.
Clean or replace disc.
Reduce inclination.
Mount the unit securely with the
mounting parts.
Select another radio-station.
Check the permanent +12V.
